A swirl

Of confusion

Like water droplets

Circles in on me

The boundary

Growing tighter

Then looser

Pulsating

As though to condense me

I clench in fear

And the orbit widens

Droplets increasing their reach

Out to you

Others walked carelessly through

Others with blurred vision

And others with a curled lip

But your eyes

Gazed through

Your hand glowing

Extends

And mirage

Of reasons

Soaked in self-blame

Evaporates
