Limitations of flesh
Bodies
Curve
Move
Bend
In stillness
And expression
Bodies that extend
Thoughts, desires, intentions
They, too, can imprison
Bodies like purses
With gold
Contain elements to our being
Divine stardust
Living simulations
Sharing atoms through breath
Pulling on the tethers
Across time
Bodies of energy
Fragments of the Source
Amalgamation of oneness
Separation by flesh
How must we enact meaning
Through the limits of our bodies?
Ways that can reach others
Without violation
That can admire others
Without perversion
That can tell a story
Without mutilation
What are these human constructs
That we have placed
On experiences
Such as pleasure, guilt, and joy
How much does darkness
Lower the frequency
Of our song
Endured pain that
Inhibit us from
Embodying
Our body’s
Intention
Of love
Of carrying out
Our purpose
On this earth
In this life
How do we use
This vessel as the
Beautiful extension
Of ourselves
As it is
How do we
Live and truly
Celebrate this life
This opportunity
To live at this time
In today
In the now
How do we use this body
And the limits of flesh
As a vessel for light?
